Modern roots, timeless style
Our story
AZRO was born from a simple belief: Moroccan heritage is not a costume for special days — it is a way of dressing for today.

Where we come from
Rooted in Morocco, made for the world
“Azro” means rock in Amazigh — the stone of the Atlas mountains that has watched over Morocco for millennia. We chose the name because it speaks of what lasts.
Founded in Casablanca, AZRO brings together designers and master artisans from Fès, Marrakech and Casablanca. Together we reimagine the caftan, the djellaba and the jabador with cleaner lines, modern fits and the same uncompromising hand work.

A heritage of craftsmanship
More than fashion.
A living heritage.
Every AZRO piece passes through the hands of a maâlem — a master artisan. Sfifa braiding, aakad buttons and gold khrib embroidery are all made by hand, taking between 40 and 120 hours per garment.

What we believe
Our values
Heritage first
We study traditional garments before we redesign them, so every modern cut keeps its cultural meaning.
Made by hand
Embroidery, trims and buttons are crafted by artisans — never printed, never rushed.
Fair partnerships
We work directly with our workshops and pay fair, agreed prices for every piece.
Made to last
Timeless designs and durable fabrics, made to be worn for years and passed down.
Sustainability
A slower kind of fashion
We produce in small batches and only remake what our customers love, so very little goes to waste. Fabric offcuts are turned into belts, pouches and trims in our workshops.
Our packaging is plastic-free and made from recycled card, and we ship within Morocco to keep our footprint low. We are moving more of our fabrics to natural fibres and local mills each season.
